â–ş English Summary of this article (article written in French, English summary by the Journal of Regulation & Compliance – JoRC): Beyond a set of specialised regulatory obligations, the fight against money laundering and terrorist financing has become a structuring element of the organisation, governance and operational processes of financial institutions. The author describes this progressive internalisation of Compliance: involvement of commercial functions in identifying risks, risk mapping, customer classification, transaction monitoring and an evidentiary logic. She also points out the questions this movement raises as to its operational acceptability and its reception by customers.
