► Summary: The author shows that corruption, a multifaceted offence whose universal condemnation does not translate into uniform enforcement, reveals the tensions surrounding transnational prosecution. A source of international disharmony for the ne bis in idem principle through its enforcement methods and foundations, it is also a vector of harmonisation, the apparent convergence of enforcement leaving persistent divergences.
